The General Services Administration’s (GSA) 8(a) STARS III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) vehicle that provides agencies with flexible access to customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry partners. 8(a) STARS III allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements while strengthening opportunities for 8(a) small businesses.
Concord Premier Consulting Inc. is a prime contractor on 8(a) STARS III in all task areas other than Emerging Technologies and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) support. The contract vehicle also allows contracting officers to award sole source contracts for opportunities not exceeding $4.5M in value.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Sole Source vehicle enables agencies to engage in direct buy contracts with certified contractors. Contract Officers can award a sole-source 8(a) contract if they determine that the certified company has the capabilities to perform the work, the contract can be awarded at a fair market price, and the government estimate does not exceed $4.5 million, according to 8(a) Sole Source Limitations at FAR 19.805-1(a)(2)
